Paarweise in Tanzrichtung. Einhandfassung. Der Tänzer drückt mit seinem rechten Ellbogen den linker Arm der Tänzerin an sich

Dance

Figure I

With slow easy swinging steps (on each measure) going one step in dancing-direction. The boys sing the following songs

   Und landlerisch tanz'n
   kann net a Niada
   I kann's selba net recht,
   aber meine Brüada
     The dancing of a Landler
     not everybody may
     I myself can't it eitherI 
     but my brothers can.
   Vom Wald san ma außa,
   san lustige Buam,
   aber herg'wachsn san ma
   als wia die gelbn Ruabm
     We come from the wood,
     we are funny boys
     but we are grown
     like yellow carrots. 	
   Zwisch'n Nottau und Rackling
   da wachst der rot' Loahm,
   so lang ma a Zwanzgerl ham,
   gehn ma net hoam.
     Between Nottau and Rackling
     grows red loam,
     this is the way we catch Zwanzgerl (20 units of a currency)
     we don't go home. 	

Figure II

Opening of hands. The girl turns clockwise permanently in dancing-direction (Radeln), the boy follows her and clapps his hands.

Figure III

Zweihandfassung. putting arms so far down that the left shoulders touch. Going around each other anti-clockwise . At measure 23 opening of left hands, the boy turns under the upper right hands clockwise and stamps at measure 24.

Figure IV and V
They are danced in nearly every village differently. Following are two forms:

a) in Wotzdorf

With Zweihandfassung placed on the opposite side, boy with his back to the middle of the circle.

Measure 25: Turning the girl clockwise with swinging of arms over the head.

Measure 26: Boy with swinging arm over the head anti-clockwise.

Measure 27: Like measure 25.

Measure 28: Swinging forward of crossed arms.

Measure 29-32: Swinging backward of crossed arms, opening of left hands. The girl is turned around two-times anti-clockwise; at the third time she is turned inot the arm of the boy in a matter that his right arm is on her right shoulder. The boy stamps at measure 32.

Figure V

Measure 33-34: After the turning out of the girl clockwise both arms in Zweihandfassung are swung forward and backward.

Measure 35-40: Like measure 25-32. The girl is turned only once in the boys arm. In the last measures (which are at the same time the first measures) thegirl is turned out of the boys arm and starting position is taken.

b) in Nottau

Measure 25: The arms are swung forward in offener Fassung.

Measure 26-27: With swinging back the arms the girl is turned two-times anti-clockwise. The boy dances around her clockwise at the same time.

Measure 28: The girl is turned in the arm of the boy.

Measure 29: The girl is turned right.

Measure 30-40: These five Measure arerepeated two-times.

Measure 40: Final stamping with starting position.
